Fishing Rod help.

Hey all, I've only just gotten back into playing this game (Last time played back in 2014-2015)
These fishing rods are very new to me, and I've only just restarted at the end of last year on December. Mostly lost my old account due to not remembering the password, it was an account that never brought anything so it wasn't really anything special. So far I only brought a total of 2000 Cubits, because grinding is so damn boring. Is it worth getting a simple rod? or should I save and get a better rod for later?
