Hello Cubic Castle. I want to ask something related to the calculation of the cost of the room. The image above shows the size and cost of a room. Maybe this is just plain mediocre, but I saw something that made me confused. Above shows the size of "5 x 5" and the fee is "150". If we multiply 5 by 5, then the result is 25. The ratio between the area of the room and the room cost is 25: 150 or can be simplified to 1: 6 (1.66 ...). Surprisingly, the comparison between the spacious room "297" with the cost of room "714" is not equal to a value above (297: 714 = 1.4159 ...). Is there an equation to get the cost of a realm? I hope admins and mod can answer this question. thanks.

They have upped the price of rooms so maybe that is the reason that it isnt the right price

Price escalates with size in general. Your paying for the upsizing fee as well as the size.
The bigger the room/realm, the larger the fee.

IMO, this is due to server consumption.

The prices of rooms/realms did increase recently at one point, but due to the negative impact it had with the part of community that actually preferred building, (and big impact on servers with how many realms were actually registered; I think I remember SirKewberth quoting a whopping high number) the prices decreased slightly.

    Edit.
Here was the old post: http://forums2.cubiccastles.com/index.php?p=/discussion/877/realm-room-prices-to-rise-soon#latest

May not be. For example, 5×99=495 and 52×52=2704, yet both costs the same.
The final price is 15(Width+Depth) up to 25(Width+Depth) and not determined by Width×Depth. To calculate how many times the Width+Depth is multiplied, divide the Width+Depth by 20 (finding the average÷10) and round it down to the integer both closest and smaller than it (unless itself is an integer), then add 15 to it.
    Example:
    Given the room is 56×87,
    [(56+87)÷20]+15≈22
    22(56+87)=3146 Cubits

Can you give me the mathematical equations and other examples? I still do not understand.

32×32 is cheaper than 16×64 when the sizes are the same.
