It's not those words on their own that are bad.... it is how you use it that makes it wrong!!! And in this case it is not acceptable.
He just said it not really used it in a sentence and he didn't tell it to someone he just said it.
There you go... he said it and he did use it in sentences and not only those words. Just because you think it is funny, doesn't mean it is ok to say such things. Clearly this offended some people(not just 1, but several). So calling it a joke doesn't make it ok to use it like that.
