We have the Kindergarten (kindergarten), which is kind of voluntary.
Then, after the Kindergarten, at the age of six, children go to the Grundschule (elementary school) for four years.
After that, depending on their grades and also the child's choose, they can go to:
Hauptschule/Mittelschule for 5/6 years,
Realschule for 6 years
Or Gymnasium for 8/9 years, depending on the state.
The schools are being visited by kids based mostly on their grades, Gymnasium being the highest level school and respectively Mittelschule the lowest level.
If you choose (or have to) to go to the Mittelschule, you will get a Hauptschulabschluss (Secondary Graduation) after 6 years or a Qualifizierter Hauptschulabschluss (Qualificating Secondary Graduation) after 5 years, if you are good at school. The Hauptschulabschluss gives you the ability to make a Berufsausbildung (vocational education). After the Berufsausbildung you can, but don't have to, visit a Fachberufsschule for 2/3 years (Specialistic Vocational School) which will give you a Fachausbildung (specialist education).
If you choose the Realschule, you will get a Mittlere Reife or a Realschulabschluss (Secondary Graduation Level II) after 6 years. After the 6 years in Realschule, you can make a normal Berufsausbildung and a Fachausbildung like in the Mittelschule, but you also get the ability to go to the Gymnasium for another 2/3 years. This is called a M-Zweig.
With the Gymnasium, you get the Abitur (General Qualification for University Entrance) after 8/9 years. The Abitur gives you the ability to go studying in a Hochschule/Universität (university). With the M-Zweig after the Realschule, you also get the ability to make an Abitur.
I am currently visiting the Gymnasium.
My school sucks.
The general building (Hauptgebäude if you want more german phrases) is currently being renovated and will be accessible after the Sommerferien (summer vacation xD). Right now we also have Pfingstferien (penecoste vacation) for two weeks. After that we will be back in our Containergebäude (a replacement building ok I will stop the german).
We don't have drugs in our school or at least I don't know of any (yet).
We get mostly everyday homework which has to be done the next day.
My lessons start at 7:30 am and end at 12:30 am. The higher classes also have Nachmittagsunterricht (afternoon classes, sorry) after a Mittagspause (lunch break).
Our regular school lesson takes 45 minutes, but we have a Doppelstundensystem, so that on the most days we have only 3 different subjects and each subject takes 1:30 h.
I hate PE.
We don't wear school uniforms. I think we should, though, because many kids are bullied because they don't wear Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein. We have school merchandise though.
Oh and my English Teacher is nice.
Uniform required
idk teachers are nice if youre nice
Ive gotten like 10 bits of worth while homework
Just an average school :p
1. It has uniforms, you know, so that the jailers(teachers) can keep an eye on us and keep track of who is a prisoner and who is not
2. It has both gender prisoners
3. Every one is forced to follow the jailers and the head dungeon lvl100 boss or be punished
4. Everyone has to work(or study, as the overlords call it) whether they like it, or not.
5. Has a lame ground where the prisoners can lounge around
6. Has P.E
7. Acts all innocent in front of outsiders
Grade required: 7.0, max 10 (usually the min is 6.0 on my country bUt ThIs ScHoOl MaKeS nO sEnCe).
Grade system confusion and uselessness level: high
Some buildings closed and squished together
I am studying on third high school, with only 7 other students including me, 5 of them are girls...
The teachers and students are nice.
Forced to wear uniform.
Annoying books.
Conclusion:
Social: 8
System: 2, IT SUCKS, THE WORST I HAD IN MY LIFE (this is the 5th school i am in).
If I had my way, I'd either:
A) have the students rule over the teachers for a week
B) blow up all the schools in existence (with the government's permission ofc) and have kids homeschooled. I mean, c'mon! We've got Google people! We don't need cringy old schools!
i just want a job i like and pays a fair amount, a house and time so i can make stuff i like.... and a wife but i think there is only a 50% chance i will ever marry someone =/
And TBH video game development isn't even very hard once you get the hang of it
I have the one i in love with , but not my current bf lol
I only have little desire , pasta unlimited supply that's enough owo
on july tho, i will return.
Also YEET school suks. I, for one, usually ignore homework cuz it's lame and I just do it in class. And I NEVER do any projects
Ditch learning Lua dude, learn c# and download Unity
That's what I'm doing
And Unity is great for making games easily for free, unless you want to spend some money and buy GameMaker Studio 2, which has a very easy programming language and also a nice drag 'n' drop system, But the basic developers pack (that lets you create and build PC games) costs 99.9$ which is waaaaayyy too expensive.
But wait! It gets better!! If you wanna make mobile games, you have to pay 199 dollars, and if you wanna make a console game, you gotta pay something even more ridiculous, and hope that your game is good enough that the people of the world like it, and you get money to compensate for the ridiculous payments
Also C# isn't really hard, at least not when you are using it with unity, cuz unity does a lot of the work for us.
But I think you should just learn C# and unity, the reasons behind that being:
1. You will get to learn C# by doing something that is super fun and awesome
2. Most programming languages arent really that different from each other, so once you have mastered C#, you won't have a lot of trouble learning other languages. C, C++, and Java are a lot like C#
3. You can make some moolah on the side by making good games with some sort of payment thing (paid all, in-app purchases, subscriptions, etc.), But just make sure to make the amount something nice like 10$ or 3$ instead of GIMMEALLYOURWEALTH$
Uniform
Boring
I miss it tbh...
