Wireless interacting in an odd way on rentals

Ive noticed that you can shut down any traps or item that interacts with wireless blocks using the receivers but you cant use a lever to turn them back on. My questions are why? and can we have them to work on rentals properly?

    I can agree with that. I like to use poison spikes to keep people of my plot. But I have the same problem.
