does the chest recipe work for anyone?

when i do the chest recipe from the website or the game it doesn't work. I want to know if it works for anyone else

    Yes it works. Try indicating the recipe you tried maybe you forgot that it requires "three"(3) Old Wood Planks. And used hammer not an anvil.

    It requires you to have Hammertime 1 (Perk) *Correct me if I'm wrong :P *

    Also alot of people mess this up and I did untill just awhile ago. Chests require Old Wood planks not New wood planks
