Issue with block in front of Forges, Extractors and Distillers

So I put about 250 mud into a few extractors, it showed the animation for producing clay, however no clay was produced and there is no clay in my inventory. My mud is gone now too.
I am irritated, I needed that clay.

Edit: If a Forge, Extractor or Distiller has a block placed in front of it, the block is deleted, they used to just rise to the top of the blocks placed above them.

My entire workshop now doesn't work.

Please fix this, my workshop is broken, I love my workshop and its design.

The same thing is has been happening to me i placed 100 trunks in the forge and when i came back there was no charcoal and no trunk
