Are Cavern Mine Items are in demand

I recently found cave mine and started to dig it up.
I wonder are they are in demand and what is their price.
Also is it worth a bomb to detonate emerald/ruby/diamond.

I feel it is worth it just for the fact that these items are useful for builds. I don't sell anything I mine there. Caves are the only place to find deep cave wall, deep mushrooms, purple crystals, and stalagmites. All are useful for builds.
Bombs are 10c each and if you do sell gems they sell for like 50c so its worth it even though gems in caves are only found 1 at a time as opposed to in groups in other mines where you have to dig them up just to find them. Then you still have to blow them up and without the guarantee of recovering any. You sometimes blow up the gems when using bombs & get nothing at all. I find the success rate for recovering gems from cave is higher than in other mines even if the yield per bomb is lower.
