What is community egg hunt for?

Idk exactly what event it is xD what is this community Egg hunt for? this April 13th Dr.Slymegood said we need to reach 200k in April 19th or else bunnyzilla will sacrificed? means this egg hunt purpose is to summon bunnyzilla?<3
Or for individual prizes? Or to save bunnyzilla? may i know some info's?

In 2016 or 2015 (i don’t remember) i’d we got i think 10k eggs, bunnyzilla would spawn. it used to work like that. But then they switched it to every other hour, even hours.

Nah, there was multiple times he didn’t come after even 3-4 hours.
