Announcements, Guides, What?! (SUGGESTION)

I feel like the Announcement category is so cluttered with announcements that aren't helpful anymore. So I suggest the do it like what Off-Topic and Multi-Language are doing.
There would be the main category, News & Announcements, then several drop-down categories:
Guides, Rules, Events.
This would keep it ALOT more organized and better for nubbies to find their way.
