I had been lurking around other forums sites, and noticed specifically how Microsoft forums has "Kudos", which are earned by posting, receiving thumbs up, and being marked "solution" on someone's problem.
I really like the thumbs-up Idea, though, as another way to earn karma
It would be displayed underneath said player's comment, and only the likes would show. To stop discouragement...
To prevent others from abusing this feature, you can vote on each comment ONCE, and there could be a timer before the next vote, to hopefully stop mass-voters.
Any Thoughts?
