(iOS) CC is out of date even when just downloaded

I’m on an iPhone XR and playing with my old account from yonks ago and I try to log in but it tells me that cubic castles is out of date and I should go update. But it’s just been downloaded. And there’s no update on the App Store.

    Try to turn off your device completely, and check if an update is available.
