How to set your location?

I've seen a lot of profiles who have a set location. How?

I was told yesterday that the location is something left over from the original forums that were used years ago and is no longer used.

Yeah, it was a feature during first 2 or so weeks of this forum's life. I guess it can count as a defining feature of who is a veteran on this forum and who isnt.
(My location is... interesting, and I actually forgot about it)
