How to make a fountain like the one in cubic town center?

Anyone know how to make a fountain like the one in the town center?

    Yeah it's simple really. Place the geyser below a block and hide it. Place the block one block above the geyser, because if you place a block directly on the geyser it disappears. I can show you in-game if you want.

    Actually the geyser is placed directly on the water block in town center. You COULD bury it as Mcwolf suggested but the effect of this would be that the water spout would appear shorter.

    Place it ontop as if thd water block counts as a normal block. No need to complicate things :)

    Wait, then how come the geyser "base" or hole is invisible?

    Just place it on water, it's gone when placed on water blocks.
