Out of interest what sort of events would people like to see? Who knows maybe some interesting ideas will become a reality!

floating through space, being ageless, watching the universe happen, overseeing all life.
Racing may exclude a few players who cant afford it but thats no less different to an entry fee on a building contest etc. I don't think its fair players miss the fun of racing events because not everyone can do it. But it is a shame it is locked away for some players
Have you ever read a book where you had to make choices and those had an impact on the rest of the story? I had an idea similar to that. It could be the story of a murder. You have to solve it. For that, you have to ask questions to the suspects, find the keys (seekers) to access to some rooms (to have more clues), find the murder weapon, etc. Troughout story, you have to make important choices: who you will ask questions, wich rooms you’ll go search for clues, etc. (To make a choice, there could be the question, and a few portals. In front of each of them, there would be the choice. You would go in an other room and continue the story. So, there would be many “parallel” stories, but only one would be the “good one”). You can make bad choices. In result: you can be killed by the murderer, imprisoned in a room, etc. If you make a wrong choice, you need to restart the story (or or go back to one of the last choices). There’s only one way to win, make the good choices and find who is the murderer. If so, you bump a bumper at the end, proving that you have successfully solved the murder.
I don’t know if it’s a good idea (or if it looks too much like the murder mystery event).
So this weeks Halloween event is coming to a close. Did you give it a go? What did you think of the realm design? Enjoy the puzzles? Too hard, too easy? It is always interesting to hear people's opinions.
I haven't had the time to fully finish it, but it was fun. I'd say that the puzzles were intermediate, it took some time to pass the first puzzle, but from here everything went smoothly. Liked the spooky atmosphere, cool sorroundings and nice foliage details.
I did try it and even came to finish it. I pretty much enjoyed it, but the parkour part, I thought I'd quit for a second. Didn't think that you had to jump down at that one point. But I really appreciated it otherwise. :)
I finished it but I think it was way too confusing and the clues were to vague. If the realms were muted I would guess that 60% of the people who did finish it wouldn't have. My favorite part was the parkour and I am not even that good at them.
I was 104 on the bumper (crossed fingers) to get picked for the payoff :)
I was having fun trying to figure out the first room when someone came in and started telling everyone the passwords and secrets. Maybe mute the realm/room where there are passwords and things we need to figure out. I loved it but it would have been more fun without the spoilers from other people in the room.
Yeah passwords are a tricky one, i like keeping realms unmuted so friends can communicate and have fun and people can try to work together. Unfortunately there is always someone who is going to try and ruin that.
Tickets, seekers and various other methods are good but not always the perfect solution for what your trying to do etc.
I ended up leaving at that time and went back with Snowy yesterday when it was quiet. We had a lot of fun and we both enjoyed it. I like how it had a variety of skills with puzzles and parkour. I agree that muting the realm would take away the teamwork and a lot of the fun so it wouldn't be a good solution. I just wish people would whisper if they had a friend they wanted to help rush through it. The difficulty level was good and the rooms looked great. Nice work Space!
How bout a warning sign at that start type "whisper" then ur message to avoid spoilers, if caught with proof that he/she just blabbed it out to everyone then he/she will be disqualified? Or is it too harsh? ;-;
Welcome back! Good to see you stirring from your hiatus. Great to see some more events again and look forward to any you decide to do in the future. Your events are always top notch. Continue to soar with the eagles, and don't let the turkeys get you down. We've missed you! :)
People will always decide judging is unfair no matter how it is done. We have seen this from it being my vote,a panel of judges or a community vote. I have judged with a full video before as well, because art is subjective people will always be upset with the judges because they think they should win. Its one of the reasons i don't like hosting building contests anymore but people then complain they don't have these contests anymore. You can't win no matter what you do.7
So to be clear this contest and all going forward will be judged by a panel of moderators.
If you are unhappy with the results or the judging preference in general i advise people to not participate.
Yeah community votes and people's greed are suck , but people still curious how everyone's entry look , how does moderators processing their judge and articulate what do you think of the entry , what your thoughts ..... Not everyone want to check archive realm just for REPLICA ...
I do not understand why now all this confusion and disagreement about this year's event when such events have taken place before. Just be patient and wait for the results and that's it. After all, it is not up to us and our opinions of who will win, but the opinion of the moderators who judge by their liking. If you think that the judges didn't really think it through, haven't seen the corners of the realms, or that your build is simply better than others', that's your problem.
I can confirm that the winners are not randomly picked. I looked closely at every build in all 5 rooms. I parkoured my way up, died multiple times and read every sign I could find. I took notes on ones that stood out to me so I wouldn't forget any that I liked. It took me hours to get through all of them but I enjoyed seeing everyone's work. I personally did not look at names until after I chose my top picks so I would not be partial to any specific one based on who the builder was. Like Space said, judging anything artistic or creative is subjective so not everyone will agree with the top choices of the mod panel. I hope everyone can appreciate the time we put into touring those rooms and not turn this into a dispute that will end building competitions for good.
You can do anything on a rental that is for the building contest! If it is two "structures", it will still be considered one entry, so I don't see why you couldn't. Unless I misunderstood the question. Hope this helps!
So yesterday not only did nintendo announce a remake for one of the best Zelda games of all time but they also broke battle royal games. Tetris 99 is an online game where 99 people battle online last man standing! Nintendo win battle royals are dead.
