The Krimpus is a joke, as in a reference to the real world where you have knock offs from name brands like Prada. Sadly we as a whole are like sheep and naturally steer towards what is popular giving said item more value. From a techinal stand point Krampus is supposedly rare with it being released three years ago and not being released again. The mentality back then was also different. There was not the size of community and the mind set of trying to get rares as it is now. People will solely buy packs for the purpose of trying to get a rare and with everyone buying packs for that purpose it equals more rares being drawn which lowers the price. If Krimpus was not released ever again it's price would go up in a year but it will never rival the krampus due to the part it is less desirable. Rarity while a large factor is not the sole deciding point in price all we have to do is look at say the Motley Set with the pants being 40k on average vs. the shirt being 10k. Many pulled an equal amount but the pants have a higher price due to a higher desirability and how people perceive the value. Look at non-wearable items like the booger. The booger due to the fact it can be consumed and it is often a mishap thus lowering the amount in existence is probably just as rare if not rarer than the krampus but it is worth a max of 30k because it is a non wearable and even with it being rare people do not see value in it like they would a clothing item.

Well the fact that the horns and the tongue is gone makes it ugly, also remember: the pack is still going on and people massively get the krimpus. So there are more of them so the price goes down, also; since the krimpus is so ugly people dont want it and the price crashes doen because of that.

The price is just an average of what people wants to buy them for
  • It does not matter if they share similarity, we are picky people and it is the detail that we gravitate to. If it was reversed say the krimpus was released instead of the krampus and the krampus was released now then it would be the krimpus that is 400k plus. Things like time, perceived rarity etc. all play a huge factor.

Also it's a lot more common. Personally I don't think it looks very nice. There's probably a lot more supply for it than demand. Meanwhile everyone wants a krampus and they're harder to find.
  • thx everyone
  • Maybe the tongue cost 350k and the horns are143k.
  • Ahah Ma'am nailed it.
  • but it could be true but ram horns cost 50c these horns are the same exccept there not curled

Ram horns are it by itself and cant be "Combined" into one hat as the krampus has it combined and the horns are demon horns in a way as well if you look at it's wikipedia page as it is half demon
