Artifact Rarity

I just want to know how rare artifacts are. I get mine fro mines and don't really see much in shops. I usually see fossil vii for 1k-2k and people say its rare, but to my experiences in mines, its not that rare. Can anybody help me with rarity and pricing of artifacts?

    Go to tauch98, and through the door with fossils on it. It says the rarity

    There is 2 artifacts in every mine.

    like dragon said there are 2 artifacts in every mine, and because there are only 2 in a whole mine from over like 10k blocks it is seen as rare, every block of the artifacts all have the same spawn chance

    They don’t all have the same chance I believe. There’s some that are rarer.

    ancient tech are the rarest pieces i've seen because i have 12+ of every else art and only 4 ancient tech pieces
