In translation- Scamming is not a consistent flow, it rises and falls this has been the way of CC since the early days. Permitted there is not a large spike (which there isn't) and that it is over all being curbed (which it is) then everything is fine. As a community the greatest problem is not scamming but the ignorance of the players, their failure to adhere to caution. We could eliminate scamming almost entirely if players played more safe. Equally if not more it is our responsibility as players to prevent scamming by educating low levels and employing anti scam techniques like using ones brain for instance more than it is up to the mods or admin.
If this discussion was created several years ago I may agree but measure after measure has been implemented to the point where scamming boils down to player carelessness. The admin have introduce measures like cash registers, making cash registers free, making cash registers have confirmation windows, making vends, and the list goes on.
Cubic Castles consists of a young audience starting from ages 3 - 30 - maybe even older. Grey is simply explaining the fact that there has always been a small "trend". A trend that can either fall or rise like a spike. It's impossible to make sure that all small kids understand since they are young and easily pressured into greed and money. Therefore scamming isn't very possible to stop unless all of CC was responsible and smart.
It took me less than four minutes to type that post I am over here like pew pew pew!
It is just really important for us as players to take part of the responsibility and not put everything to the admins/mods because they are functioning in a limited capacity. Especially with mods often having their hands tied due to policies being implemented several years ago that stunted the abilities to act on scams due to complaints of mods having to much power.
there's not been so many scams with what i've seen :b
Think about it - Kewberth isn't an AI. He is a human with a life - and he even has a baby. If he were to spend almost the entire day working and coming up with scam proof ideas he wouldn't have enough time for himself and his family.
So basically what you said there was - And also -
