    Network: Broadband Internet connection
    Storage: 50 MB available space

What is your graphics card? Is it onboard or card?
    Desktop or laptop?

    One way to check:
    1. Right click desktop
    2. Select "Display settings"
    3. Select "display"
    4. Scroll down and select "Advanced display settings"
    5. Select "display adapter properties"
    6. take a screenshot of the window and share it with us.

Graphics card is everything for gaming. You could have low ram and an old cpu, but have a fairly new GPU and still play games like Skyrim.
Laptops VS desktops. Laptops are notoriously bad for gaming, and not cost effective through mobile. And majority of "non gaming" laptops do not come with 3d accelerated GPU that is required for majority of games.

My spare desktop specs is attached. It plays skyrim perfectly well. It's all about the GPU.

Onboard and its a laptop. Here are my specs. I have 0 clue what it says :P

  • i used to play on a 2009 imac with only 2 ram and it worked perfectly fine, so, maybe the ram recommended amount on steam should be decreased?
