Has = possess, own, or hold. (3rd person present) Was = exist or occur; take place. (past tense) I don’t think they are the same.
Well, does anyone knows true answer?
To say he has never born is to say "he owns never born." "Was" is a verb showing "being." It can be a stand-alone, but if you would rather use the word "has," you must make it a phrase with a form of being instead. "He has never been born."
