Desktop Notifications?

As a person who uses the forums quite frequently, I find it very annoying when I reply 4 hours late to a response that won't be answered until the next day..

So, how about desktop notifications? Is it possible?

    I know that. but I specifically asked for desktop because not everyone checks their emails 24/7..

    Forums, It'd work just like discord or skype.
