How to craft wood planks?

Hey! Does anyone know how to craft wood planks now? I can't seem to craft it as the recipe was removed for abuse I think.
I'm in need of some for my Halloween plot. >_<

You need any kind of trunk, along with a saw. Put those on your crafting table if you have the perks that allow you to work with a saw. The extensive list of recipes can be found here:

I use the "Search" function on that page (Ctrl+F) and put in a keyword to help me find what I'm looking for.

Wasn't that recipe removed for being abused?

You can do the above OR you can use a saw on wood blocks to get it :3

Edit: It was never removed for being abused, it was never abused in the first place o.o

Actually, using a saw with wood blocks no longer works. It was removed because players were abusing it. The only way to get wooden planks as said above is through tree trunks.
