why does my lvl 50 pet turn back to lvl 49

i'm really confused about this but why does my lvl 50 hopper turn from lvl 50 to lvl 49 every once and a while? i dont get rid of the kennel.

    Same thing happened to me when I had a level 50 dragon :/

    It's done on purpose because level 50 pets mostly change shape, and you may not want to keep the 50 shape for all time on your pet.

    actually that is not supposed to happen.

    Only if it dies or when you put it back in it's kennel it will revert to lvl 49

    I wish LV 50 pets would only revert to LV 49 only if u break kennel because it is really annoying feeding it back.
