How to use a ticket

How do I use a ticket? I ate one from my stack, entered a password, but then the ticket goes back into the stack!

    The entry ticket -- Can be used to let your friends pass through a portal that has a password-senty on it.. you can do this to enter in the same password on your ticket (by eating it), and hand it to a player - once they did pass the portal, the ticket will vanish.
