What happend to my friend? Texture problems?

Ok so my friend doesn't have a forum acc so he sent me this. He said it happens after sometime of playing after game crashes but it usually happens to fountains, torches, candles etc. but this is the first time it happened on his qbee and car. He uses android btw

Never let the display turn off while it's loading Cosmic Cow or else it has a high chance of doing such weird glitches

Something he did or something on his device caused the game to load wrong. All he has to do is restart the game.

If your friend tabbed out while loading, this is almost guaranteed to happen. Some textures just got lost while they were tabbed out :P Restarting the game will fix it (not just relogging, you have to completely restart).
