How do I clear or delete Posts made by me?

I don't see this in edit options. It is very annoying that I can't delete my own posts.

you can only delete your own activity post, for the forum post you'll need forum mod to close for you

You can edit your posts to delete the text in your comments but you can't delete the entire discussion. You can request that your discussions be closed so nobody can comment on it and a forum mod will do that.
