Beta Game Testing

SirKewberth released a thread: https://forums2.cubiccastles.com/index.php?p=/discussion/27056/new-steam-beta-nov-1-2019#latest

Okay, you want to test the game and help the developers, but you don't know how? Then you came to the right place. This thread will help you orientate yourself on Steam and how to find the Beta Cubic Castles section.

Instructions

Step 1)

Press on the little settings cog at the right side of your screen.

Step 2)

Once you've done that, you'll see a little display come up.

It has 3 different options to click, you would want to click on "Properties".

Step 3)

After that, a new "Properties" display window will appear.
It should look like this:

Once it shows up, click on the tab named "BETAS".

Step 4)

Once you're here, you'll notice it's pretty empty unlike other tabs. It's because it's very simple from here.

4.0)

V - "BETAS" section window

4.1)

Press on the little grey arrow on the right side of the sliding tab.

4.2)

Click on "beta - " and you are done.

4.3)

Just for any case, check the underlined sentence. If it says you're successfully opted into the Beta version of the game, you're all set.

4.4)

If all has gone according to plan, next to your game panel it should write "[beta]".

Opting out

If you wish to opt out of the Beta version, simply repeat the process, but at the Beta section, instead of clicking on "beta - ", click "NONE" and you will be opted out and back on the regular version of the game.

#NOTE:# Beta version is only available for play on Steam.

    The more, the merrier.
A random guy could discover by accident a game-breaking bug that slipped between the fingers od the experienced ones.
Nothing wrong with this guide. If anything, its actually useful.
