The problem is if you ramp up so many new players all at once the server can't handle it. We need time to install new servers. We can add as many servers as needed.. the code is designed to let us do that, but we have to have some idea that a lot of new players will be added all at once to prepare for it. So of course it would be great if a big name streamer like him played, but probably initially it would leave us scrambling to get the game servers in a spot where they could handle the new player influx.

But, the chances a big streamer will suddenly choose to start playing Cubic out of the blue is pretty slim. We'd have to be very lucky. Feel free to petition him with qbee memes :-)

There is nothing wrong with the way the game is designed, but most streamers/ YouTubers would want to play a game with a definite point to it. Something like Terraria. You play, get gear to go fight bosses etc. This game is more relaxed. I don't think streamers would get many views or people to play.

Unless we pay him a zillion dollars...

If you would add more servers, would that mean that there would be a standalone new server that can't interact with the current one? Or there are already multiple servers? The real question is will person on server_A can see, speak or add as a friend, another person from Server_B, i think it comes down to what defines a server. Because im probalbly using the term wrongly

I assume that a lot of realms and rooms are on different servers, and when you go to a realm on another server you switch servers without you actually realizing.

The game server system is designed so that we can add additional servers in the background and split the work up among them. Usually this is accomplished by splitting up the realms to different instances.
