HOPE

Person A: "Have you ever heard of hope?"

Person B: "Yes, but that's just a word..."

Person A: "Is it a word with meaning?"

Person B: "I guess? To me it's just a word but why does it matter to you?"

Person A: "Before my dad died in a war, he talked to me, and one conversation I had with him just stuck with me."

Person B: "And what was that?"

Person A: "It started out just like this, he asked about hope, to where I answered similarly like you."

Person B: "Let me guess, he said hope had all this meaning and blah blah blah!"

Person A: "He said, hope isn't just a word, it's a fire within us that never burns out unless we let it die down. That hope never leaves completely, hope will crawl out through all the wreckage no matter how far we plunge. Whether we're in the deepest water, that's only temporarily until we swim up, jumping out, soaring like an eagle without wings. Standing on land even though we're afraid yet we're standing twice as strong."
