An Option to turn off your nametag

I realize that you can turn off everyone’s name tags with Parental Controls, but I just want to turn off my own because it gets in the way so much. Maybe a switch in the profile similar to swirls?

This would be very useful when doing things like mining, the nametag is like RAWR I AM IN YOUR FACE :(.

Even if hidey bumpers were allowed in mines it still doesnt solve the issue of not wanting to see our names in others realms who lack a hidey bumper.

this is most likely not going to be added because of hidey bumper but i do admit the name is annoying when building/mining

+1, I like this idea. And yeah, to those of you who are confused at the suggestion, U is saying that he wants a way to hide his name on his screen only without the use of a hidey bumper, like in mines where you can't place the bumper. Would be very useful. Other players would still see his username.

If you insist, but i am not gonna argue my opinion(just saying).
I voted no because it doesn't bother me. My own nametag can easily be avoided by changing the camera angle.
What bothers me more are the nametags of other players nearby while i mine. That's harder to avoid.

You can turn off everyone’s nametags with parental controls already. :)
