Farming Tips/information

I want to start a farm, but I don't have enough recubes!
To start a farm you don't need recubes, only 50c to buy the starter pack.

Ugh, RECBUES AGAIN?! why does cosmic do this!?
It's now easier to get recubes, you sell your crops to the farmer in Farmer's Co-Op

I didn't plan my farm right and I don't have any more seeds!
Try to find someone selling seeds for a reasonable price.

Can I sell milk or eggs?
No, you can't. However, you can craft new foods with them.

TL;DR: corn is the most profitable

    Just wanted to say, my tomatoes grew in 2 1/2 days roughly (w/rocky soil only). Like 8 hours before they were supposed to be finished. Maybe it was a server error or something, but yeah, this is a helpful thread. Keep up the good work! >:0

    They were supposed to be done at 12:30pm-ish today, but I got them at 4am-ish instead. o.o

    Don't write this down into the thread yet, I just wanted to share my findings. :P

    İt would be great if you wrote those soil times with seeds. Like tomato with rocky soil 3 days, with decent 2 days, with great 1 day. Thanks, useful and great a thread. =)

    I added it in the soils area :3

    Bump!
    I was informed that the corn price was incorrect, I checked into it and he was right. I changed it so it's not confusing o-o

    (It was 3rc per corn, I was told it's 4rc per corn, that was correct so I'm changing it)

    @Jared Grace ty
  • Thanks for that. I was actually wondering the specifics on growth time in each soil. Appreciate the guide. Very helpful!
  • They should Announce this :P

    I have no idea what you are talking about..
    I only test things from time to time, I am in no way responsible for announcing anything.. nor can I be sure of anything..
    @Elemental god

  • Snowy Owl, thank you for compiling all this information. Most helpful.

    gratefully,

  • Bump!

    I still think there are more people that need to read this :D
  • @lucaaa795 did u test this? I was told on quality soil tomatoes take 24hrs only and potatoes take 30hrs.

    Also if anyone can verify this? I heard a rumor that as far as days go for crops, one day is 20hrs... So when adjusting times by days... You would go by a 20hr day not a 24hr day. Can anyone verify if this is correct info or just silly rumor? Thanks
  • Good work on the info Snowy!

    IS IT A FAKE MGN?!?! Hint: NO ADMIN TAG

    @Liberated timed his tomatoes on quality and it was exactly 30 hours.
