I often get this error when trying to send a pm.

Ofcourse when a recipient is selected.

Make sure the name is correct it may be misspelled.
Example
@xNxy instead of @xNexy
A black box should appear with the recipients name in it, click on it.

Nah, I always go to a profile, then click 'message' so that's not possible
