Well... We could hide new graphics etc... to prevent spoilers, but I never really felt the need to. I kind of find the leaks etc.. can be fun for people, guessing what's coming etc... Though I do prefer that people use spoiler tags. But really how is it any different than say a preview video? So it just didn't seem worth the effort to go out of our way to try and hide stuff.
Well, since I have some experience in this area myself (since we already finished blender lessons in collage), it shouldn't take too much time. This of course is affected by multiple factors such as tiredness, general knowledge, how complex is the design of an item, layering and putting on different textures etc. The coding is also affected by factors such as the game engine or if you wish, how it works (regarding model inputs, texture processing and so on...).
For something like a shirt they already have the model stuff done, so it's just retexturing and such. But I'm not sure how long new models take. It's something that would be interesting to know, but then people would flip out and do the math when something is "taking too long".
"Well you see, if it takes 6hrs to do this, then you only have like 12 of those, and I'm sure you have more time to do this.... laziness is what I call it"
I'd rather it's so whimsical that it just comes to us. Like magicccc
Well Kewberth did state in the original thread; quote: "My hope would be to start rolling this new stuff out by year end. "
I think I did see a message where I think he said that it might be sooner, but I wasn't able to find it (I did a quick scroll through the pages). Overall, this update will either be before the Yuletide update or after it, which ever comes first.
