How is it supposed Hydro expert perk works?

This say perk is working but the machine have no changes

    I think so but if it doesn't do anything and you wait 4 hours, so you laybe found a bug...

    It works for me with blue and green cubes, but i don't know about the other 2

    First put a random item in the rehydrator, the drag it on top of the dehydrated cube in your inventory, swap it and the perk will be activated.

    That is not working for me, I tryied in 3 diferent rooms, and not work.

    Well.. the perk doesn't really have use for me cause I still need almost same duration for the machine to rehydrate those cubes.
    If I remember it correctly
    Red : decrease few mins,
    Purple : decrease some mins,
    Blue : decrease lots mins,
    Green : idk.. I rarely get it,
    Gold : idk... I never get it.

    Put a item in the rehydrator then drag that item onto a dehydrated cube..
