Cubic Castles Out Of Date

I play cc thru steam so I uninstalled it then installed cc. It still says out of date. I tried clicking desktop shortcut, then tried clicking the play button on steam but still is out of date. After 4.5 years of playing cc I still am shocked that y'all can't get updates under control. No words.....due to my mother telling me if ya got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
