Tips For Beginners

If you're looking to start your farming experience today, be sure to read these tips as they may help you farm and save you cubits and/or recubes in the long run!

Tip 1: When starting out, buying the farming pack for 50 image cubits is really benefitial for your start when farming

Tip 2: When placing your soil, make sure there are no stamps or blocks above the soil as this will cause the crops to die!

Tip 3: Make sure to water your crops often, every 12-24 hours to be 100% you don't forget!

Tip 4: When you unlock perks, make sure to focus on Land Manager, Botany & Farm Tech, this will help you gain more farmable space, different crop types and allow you to use sprinklers and a tractor!

Info For Each Item

Farming soils:

Rocky Soil: Rocky soil is the first soil you may start farming with as it can be bought from the cc store for 15 recubes and you will recieve 5 soil blocks or you can buy the farming starter pack for 50 cubits and recieve 5 rocky soil from there too. This soil is the slowest to grow crops on.

Decent Soil: Decent soil is the next level up from Rocky soil, this is obtained from the cc store for 50 recubes for 5 soil blocks, this is slightly faster than rocky soil.

Quality Soil: Quality soil is the best farming soil so far, this soil grows crops at the max rate you can grow crops at (times are further down in the thread), this is also the most expensive and you possible won't be using this for a while.

Fairy Soil: Fair soil is the only soil with strict rules, the only seeds you can plant on this soil is fairy seeds, these seeds take 7 days (162 hours) to grow and you recieve 1 of 4 types of blocks and 1 of 4 types of plants. NOTE: you do not get the soil or the seeds back after use!

Watering Cans:

Watering Can: This watering can is the basic craftable one. This watering can can be crafted using iron and a hammer in the workbench, this watering can holds 10 spots of water you can use on farm soils, to fill this can up you need 1 water block and the watering can in the workbench, I suggest crafting and filling up multiple of these to water your farm.

Deluxe Watering Can: This watering can is a bit later down the line in your farming career, this watering can can be bought from the cubit store for 250 recubes and can hold 25 watering spots, to fill this can up you need 2 water blocks in a work bench.

Sprinklers

Small Sprinkler: The small sprinkler is the first sprinkler you unlock and can be purchased in the cc store for 50 recubes, this sprinker works in a ( + ) patern around it like the picture showed below

    Sprinkler Tips

    Sprinkler Tips (Layouts + How They Work)

    Small Sprinklers

    Small sprinklers work in a plus ( + ) pattern, they don't do the corners, the sprinkler must be on level with the soil in order to work correctly, the picture below will show you how these sprinklers are used;
    image
    Small sprinklers can be arranged in such a way that they can cover a large area in an organised formation;

    Small sprinklers do not need water to be used, you just place them and plant your seeds!
