Can anybody let me know at what level doogs, mewmews, and hoppers can detect artifacts? What level does the pet need to be for artifact detecting to be maxed? (I'm pretty sure the range increases per level)

IMO pets are a waste of time. I use /skycam in Tropical mines. Look in the water and on all 4 sides. On sides Tropical mines are all dirt except for ores, marble and artifacts.
To try this go to my realm artificium ostentationem then drop down the red block to lower level, then walk into the tropical wall. This is my Tropical Mine where I set up some artifacts in the water & on the sides.

Level 6 is when they start to be able to detect artifacts, but from only a block or two away at first. My doog is at level 24 and he can detect artifacts from only about 3 blocks away, so it doesn't increase much with levels. I'm not sure what distance they can detect from at higher levels.
