How do I leave a clan?

I'm in a clan right now that I would like to leave, but I can't find the owner or the original clanstone. I've tried joining another clan, but the pop-up box that would normally appear asking you to confirm your request fails to open. Can somebody please help me? Thanks in advance!

    If you find someone else who has a clan you could ask them to let you join theirs. Then you should be able to leave the clan, or ask then to kick you afterwards
