The Great Siege - Test Run
The Great Siege
I'm finally done (hopefully) with my game, "The Great Siege" , which is the first ever Fully Automatic Game in CC.
In order to confirm that everything works fine, I'm gonna be doing a test run.
About the game
It's a Castle Defending Game. Invaders vs Defenders
Features:
- Free to Play!
- Team PVP
- Fully Automatic (can be started and resetted even if the owner isn't online.)
Read how to play on my website: https://danielpolish.hu/cc/tgs/.
(There is also a room in the lobby where you can read it.)
The idea came from a popular Minecraft minigame (among Hungarians), "Várjáték", which translates to "Castle Game"
Here is a video of this minigame: https://youtube.com/watch?v=VAsQreozozk
(It's in hungarian, so don't expect to understand what they are saying.)
About the test run
Realm name: The Great Siege (hopefully searchable)
For best experience, join the discord server: https://discord.gg/PK9ZGJU3.
The test run will be held on Sep 3 7:30 Cubic time (13:30 CEST).
I'm gonna do a holla or two.
The goal is to confirm that the game works fine; and also, to find the best invader-to-defender ratio.
We will start with 6v6 (if there are enough players), then (depending on the result) continue with a 4v6 or a 6v4.
The teams are going to be random (using warps in prize dispenser); however, I’m considering letting players, who joined discord, choose between the two teams, and only the leftover warps will be put in the prize dispenser.
If you didn't get into any of the teams, there is a Spectator Area too!
I'm also going to be watching the game from there.

Comments
When I tried it myself, it worked, but there is a bug when multiple players are interacting with the pressure plates.
I'll do some debugging, then we will do another test run.
I did some testing with Panda05. Unfortunately, it seems to be a synchronization issue. Some crucial outline blocks appeared full on my screen, but empty on his.
Also, when someone enters the realm, the red signal flips. (the red signal controls the game, so it's a big deal)
I hope that SirKewberth is reading this, and that he will look into this synchronization problem.
