Overworld Blocks Increased

I know it has been a while since the overworld update and the different blocks we could use have been updated already but when are we getting things like leaves or decorations implemented? I understand that there is a limit to decrease lag but things like trees, ferns, bushes, clouds or even recube flowers could be added to that list? For me, overworlds look a little bland and it doesn't make me want to build something really pretty if I am limited to just flowers as decoration. Even just a small update will suffice that adds the plants that we can mine in public mines would do.
What do you guys think?

I agree with this, i really want more decorative items for the overworlds, i've been waiting for Lava cracks and other Cavern Mine blocks to be added to the list of blocks allowed in overworlds, so +1!

How did you do roads before road blocks where added? just use anything that looks close enough. some of the best realms ever made only used block from 6 years ago.
