Hunting eggs made easier?

I keep hearing about a compass that helps hunt eggs. What is this item?

There is no such item. Only 2 compasses exist (Ranger and Astro). Both of them tell which coordinates your qbee is on.

Compass doesn't help find eggs. I was the one who tried (tried) to explain all it does it lets you know what row you are on. I go to row 4 then at the end move over to row 12 and at the end each time move over 8.
