Farmer Co-op fish

I went to the farmer co-op to see how much recubes fish were worth. I put a guardianfish in the dude's thingy, and it said 1 recube. I didnt want only one recube, so I clicked the x button. I did not get my guardianfish back. I went back to talk to him later and it was in there. It should go directly into your inventory though when you click the x so people don't not talk to him again and lose their stuff.
