I cannot take pet out of its kennel.

I bought meemew from cubic store when I was level 10.
I leveled up to 15 level, but I couldn't bring the meemew out of its kennel. The message still says that " Can't take pet! / You need to be at least level 15 to take your pet out!"
Now My level is 16 and I still can't get my meemew out only seeing that message.
I don't know what is wrong. Now what should I do? Should I sell that pet and buy another one?
Please help.
