Might as well say it on here since there's a new sign in the event and the cat's out of the bag:
I built Pac-Spud. Hope you all enjoyed it :) Took me a couple weeks, but I'm glad with how it turned out. Originally, Space didn't announce that I built it because of the backlash from players with previous player-made events, so I will say this now: there is no "favoritism" here, I came up with the idea and offered to build it. I was not paid, and I am not getting any "special reward". This was just me having an idea and wanting to make it into an event :D
I would also like to add that had anyone else come to me at the point in time with a great pitch and an understanding of exactly what they needed to build it I would have loved to allow them to run with the idea. However this is no longer possible due to how people react to some peoples builds being used. So the community event which also started around the same time will unfortunately be the last community driven event.
I meant the best, not one of the best. It WAS one of the best. And no, thank you! It was fun, and I had a great time. I will eventually do I again. It's just one of those events that are worthy of a second time around.
So I'm going to repost my message I sent to fetus cuz some "stuff" has been cleard up.
The event is really awesome. Had so much fun going throught it the first time. When I see the old 19something years of the 20th century when people played pac-man using an old joystick on a little tv screen! Honestly, had really a lot of fu playing it that I passed it, I bet over 6 times... great work Jack! ^^
Yeah I've seen it before, so you no special! But I do still find it quite interesting. My knowledge on eyes and peripheral vision and all that is tremendous due to past things we had to learn about. And brain games. They just added some fun. But besides that, learning about sight was a big thing for me and others around me (don't worry, MY vision is fine). So I know why that works, but I still love it. I could stare at illusions all day.
I've been using Cubic Castles on Steam for years and have never once had a single problem with it. How are all of you having corrupted files, malware, virus scanner issues, problems here, and problems there? I've run it without a hitch for so long.
I just listened to the Super Mario Galaxy OST for the first time in a long time and I don't think I've ever been hit with this much nostalgia at once before :Q: Grace and I used to play it all the time, she was the Luma and I was Mario
Nostalgia is a funny thing. I was seventeen when SMG was released. Never played the game, do not own many game systems and am not a fan of Mario. He is every where- EVERY WHERE. The concept of the game sure seemed neat though!
Keeping it on topic, @KitKat234, I have my own experiences to share.
I remember always wanting both games, and when I was a wee lil' 12 year old, I got both games in the same gift box during Christmas. I loved the experience of both games, challenges and all. I beat BOTH games, all stars and Green Stars, and also found all the secrets and what-not in the end game. The OST is obviously in my saved videos tab in YouTube, so i can go back and relive the days of my Galaxy experiences. The songs are so nostalgic, and I enjoy every little bit of it.
I'm seeing far too much fussing and complaining on these forums of late, about little things here and there that people get mad about. Whether it's about a bug, a scam, or the fact that you missed the flash sale yesterday, it doesn't need whining! Don't make a discussion about it. The developers have been under attack for days now about lots of little things. It's literally just 2 people trying their best to satisfy about 15,000 people, not everything will work out. It's one of the reasons why they're expanding their team soon. But stop fussing. The majority of us are teenagers or older, whining is for little kids.
I hear you have to want it real hard. Close your eyes picture it envision it taste it. Click your heels together 3 times, spin around and shout I want to be admin. All while you picture it in your head. If you want it enough it will work.
It’s going to be a race to the Mines when the update comes out, especially since we haven’t had a Mine update in quite a while.
These new improvements to Tropical & Arctic Mines will also be exciting to see, as we haven’t had a Tropical Mine update since the Sugar Canes, and the Arctic Mines have never had one in the 3+ years that I’ve been playing.
