Anyone have suggestions on how to give speeches without sweating, stuttering, etc. Like any tips on how to control my nervous habits? I just can’t seem to give a single speech the way I want to without freaking out.
I hate speaking out in front of people, unless I've known them for a while. But I find that usually avoiding eye contact helps. If you are required to look at he audience, don't look at them specifically.
Imagining people in their underwear never works, that just makes it feel awkward for you. I personally love speaking in front of people, but one tip I suggest is remember that the people you're speaking in front of are your friends and family (most of the time) so it's just like having a one-sided chat with them. As soon as you start to feel comfortable in front of them, be conversational. Forget what they think about you, it doesn't matter if anyone's judging your form and delivery. Just be yourself, talking about a subject you like :3
