I strongly agree.
Here do me a favor talk with your forum mods buddies and maybe if they, togheter with horus of course, agree then we got it live!
I mean you're a forum moderator (one of the best i could say with no doubt) so you can talk with the forum staff easier when it comes to suggesting something that will have a nice impact on the forums!
You are mistaken Lucaaa, if you look on my profile, it will say "Retired Moderator". Which is the same concept I am suggesting for game bans, so people can avoid confusions such as the one you just made
Am I wrong?Let me check on my own your profile..
Ohhh yes I'm soooo sorry i guess i'm still having memories from the times when you were the main forum moderator..Ahhh the good ol' days when some were almost wiped out of the forums because they hated the corrupt forum staff..Boy i miss those times for sure!
I'm all for it!
It is with a heavy heart that I would like to inform you all that I will no longer be a member of the forum moderator staff.
Due to my recent actions and unacceptable behaviour, it has been decided that it would be best that I do not represent Cosmic Cow staff. Therefore, I have been removed from the team.
I must say, it has truly been amazing working for this community, besides the few bad apples, it has been an awesome opportunity to help keep the forums in order, but now it is over.
I hope a few people can take something of value from this, how quickly things can change for the worst, based on your attitude, and your actions. And I hope that it is now clear, there is no corruption among the staff, rule breaking will not be tolerated by anyone. I am proof of that.
I would like to apologize to the developers for putting forward such a negative front, and I would like to assure the community, what I did is NOT common among the staff. So please do not hate them for my actions.
I would like to thank the members of the community for all of the good times you guys provided, all of the laughs and banter, and for making my job interesting.
I am not quitting the forums or the game, I will just be a bit more inactive now that I have some free time on my hands (Until university steals that time from me again)
I will miss being a moderator, but I made my bed, and I must now sleep in it.
You'll learn to give people a second chance. Besides, don't forget that the "bad behaviour" you got only came from you. I hope that you also learnt that become a forum mod don't give you as much power as you could think. Keep that in mind.
I wish you good luck IRL even what happened between us.
Thanks for your work before gollum, you've done lots great stuff for this forum, if you weren't here some discussions might get messy cause spam or off topics.
I don't know what you've done in this forum (I only remember one mistake you made in the old forum, but it wasn't really matter) and no one is perfect, everyone can and always make mistake, and they might repeat it again, but by the time passes they'll learn more from mistakes they made.
I'll give my opinion on this, I've never had high opinions of Gollum but I don't think by any means this is Gollum's fault. From what I hear I believe he may have crossed a line but by no means at all is it just Gollum's fault.
Everyone crosses the line at one point, sure you may have crossed the line but no one is an exception to that. Everyone has something that will take them over the line and some are better at concealing that then others but it doesn't mean you're the one totally responsible. If anything this is a lesson to many people including myself. I don't I've made much sense, what I mean is that crossing the line is less of a decision but sometimes it can't be something one cannot control so easily or something one doesn't realize until the situation is finished. Sometimes it just happens and people can't see that they've crossed that line until it's over which happens more then otherwise. I can see why the devs did what they did but I would of thought they would give a stern warning more then a kick from the moderator team. There are a lot of things I disagree with that you've done but this time I felt you stood up for something good (granted I wasn't there, based on what I've heard). Of course this doesn't mean I thought it were right of you to take that stance in particular but I do think your intentions were good and that the devs should of given a little slack for this one as like I said before, sometimes people step over the line and almost all the time people learn from it.
Alfredo, mah dear! I hope you have the most amazing bday evah! Or had, cause I'm pretty sure I'm quite late for that side of the pond X'D nevertheless, I wish nothing but the best for you, may all your dreams come true and may you eat all the pastries your heart desires! Don't forget that he's just a forum mod, and believe me, he does his best to keep everyone satisfied, even though it may not seem like that to some people. That's just how I see it, putting friendship and all aside.
I try my hardest to be fair. But keep in mind, some people build up a bad reputation on the forums, so they get dealt with differently and usually more strict.
Though I find it funny, Ciel. You're angry with me based on my judgement, but your anger comes from your own judgement. So it's different views in the end, and people get angry with moderators even though we've never dealt with them, because their friends twist stories to make us look bad, when really your friends broke the rules and couldn't handle the consequences.
And lately my punishments have been harsh because the majority of the mods are busy with exams and testing.
You call it unfair, then complain to the dev's. They're in charge of the rules, I enforce them, so go see how brave you are complaining to adults about their game.
I'm not spying on your pm's. You guys break rules there so you get punished for it.
Again, people just get angry when they can't handle the consequences of their actions.
Let's keep this debate clean so I don't have to remove it
What about users who get angry when they got "punished" when they doesn't broke the rules?, and after, they try to know why they got that strange warning, and then, the staff acts as if act as if they did not know what had happened?
Well Gollum, by now you can know what am I talking about.
I like to ask a question. Why was I warned? I haven't msg anything in the forums other then when I entered into the ram drawing for pixel art. I haven't done anything that would cause this. I'm a new player and I wouldn't want to do anything to go against game rules. I'm 19 and tbh that would be very immature of me.
I was warned for someone strange too in my activity wall, and he never explain what specific stuff cause the problem, a month pass, and still no answer, I think was a weird random warning about whatever, because the players doesn't comment me what was wrong or something, also G says about "read rules", and in rules none of these points was broken.
Catwoman, these issues are better dealt with via the PM system.
Also, Blaked, I don't recall receiving a PM from you, maybe it was drowned out by the other pm's I get. If you PM me and elaborate more we can work it out i'm sure, same for you catwoman.
I'm not angry at all by this. I was just a little bewildered by why I was warned twice for things I haven't done. I love this game and I hope to play it for many years to come but I can't do that if I'm going to be warned for unknown reasons and then banned. I hope to be a mod one day but I've read over the rules to be a mod and one is to keep your reputation up and be helpful. Now my rep is low for an unknown reason and that Dream can die too. XD o well.. I guess it happens *_*
They aren't random. They have reasons, all you need to do is read the warning, and contact a mod. We don't go around randomly selecting people and giving warnings for now reasons. PM a mod and we will show you your error
