How can I open and view a 3D model of the cubic cast files in order to edit it?

I really want to edit the models, but the accessories, I do not know I find it interesting and fun to make my own models!

The modl files are our own thing, so they won't open by default in a commercial 3d program. They're not very complicated, and it would be possible, in theory to convert them to a readable 3d model format, but they would require converting before they could be edited. Another problem you'll run into is that the textures for models are packed into bigger textures... so to get the texture on the model you'd have to manually extract it from the larger image. In short it's not so simple.

unless of course your talking about just repainting textures in which case its as simple as pulling the texture files from the default cubic castles folder and editing them.
  • And of course, messing with the game files is illegal until admins give you permissions to edit them.
