Is it possible to use fadey foam on a purple portal?

I have wasted so much foam trying to get this door to go invisible when I'm under it but nothing I do works.

I've tried foaming all nine of the blocks and I've made sure the floor under it is foamed with the same color. Everything else, including the floor directly below the door, will vanish but not the door itself.

    If you want the door to blend in better, since you can't use fadey foam, you could try getting a door stamp, so it blends in with the blocks touching it.

    Or just move the door somewhere else, if that is an option. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do.
