Does anyone have any tips on farming?

I suggest you use small sprinklers.

Also, plant corn.
- Design is important. Work out what kind of sprinklers you want before you build your farm, and set up the sprinkler spots ahead of time as well as space for 500 crops per room ( 5 rooms max can be used for farming at this time).
- At first, Plant tomatoes like crazy to generate farm experience.
- Go for your land manager perks first, and aim for the corn perk as well.
- Once you have 3 to 5 farm rooms going, dedicate 1-2 rooms to corn for recube generation.
- Then start upgrading your soil from rocky to quality. replace entire rooms soil at once, or per section depending on your setup.
- Aim for sprinkler perks next.
- My advice is to aim for large sprinklers. May cost more, but i found that its easier to replant and harvest in the long run. Small sprinklers are great don't get me wrong. It's something you will have to decide on.
- Once you have sprinklers set up, aim for the tractor next. Don't forget that a tractor requires a perk to use.
- Once you have maxed out your farming level, switch all your tomato crops to corn.
