I didn't have this game until the Easter event. Is giving out Cubits like this something they do for the Holidays? Because I didn't have 5000 cubits earlier today.

Yep, just noticed this as well. I didn't have the 5k yesterday when I logged on to harvest my tomatoes. It's some sort of gift thay everyone got for xmas.
